This evening, I lit a tealight candle which I had previously partially used. A small wick remained and the container held approximately 50 percent of its wax capacity.
I broke off a few small fragments from my bundle of dried sage leaves and placed them onto the wax and then lit the wick. My intention was to observe whether the sage would soak up some of the wax and create a pleasant aroma as the candle continued to burn.
The sage was now completely saturated in wax and as I removed each piece, the level of the wax lowered and the wick began burning brightly once more, keeping the wax somewhat liquefied, maintaining the flame.
I am watching the candle as I write this entry in my diary.
As the candle continues to burn, I shall reintroduce the wax saturated sage one piece at a time so as not to overwhelm and extinguish the flame.
It will be interesting to observe whether my initial intentions to create a sage scented candle are effective with the newfound knowledge obtained through the experience of this technique.
The point of writing all this is that as I was observing and continue to observe this series of events, I am recognising a parallel with the experience of being one with all things and yet experiencing the separation of individual fragmentation we are currently experiencing in our collective evolution back to source and oneness.
The wax, the tealight container, the wick, the sage and the flame are aspects of a whole system and my presence observing and directing the elements is akin to creator spirit / source energy observing and partaking in the experience of interaction between individual fragments.
There is a beautiful and delicate interaction between each of these elements that enables the flame to remain alight while each piece plays an important role in creating a much larger picture of experience. The fruits of the experience are the beautiful, healing and cleansing aroma of the sage and the light of the candle flame.
Sometimes the elements are brought together as a whole. Then, as required, the elements are separated to keep the flame alight. As the wax burns, giving off the aroma of the infused sage, the fuel source evaporates into the atmosphere. Then, the wax saturated sage that was removed can be reintroduced and continue to provide a new source of fuel and a new perspective for me as the overseer who is able to observe all this from a higher perspective, gently intervening as necessary for the benefit of the whole, myself included.
This small experiment in my kitchen is mirroring the unfolding experience of my heighted vibrational state as I shift into higher dimensional awareness and experience existence from an ever increasing perception of collective and planetary consciousness.
I am no longer limited to my three dimensional, ego separated state as a seemingly disconnected individual being. I am once again beginning to remember and experience existence from a collective perspective with others on mother Earth and spread throughout the cosmos.
More than that though, I am feeling the deeper collective connectedness with not only these entities but of being one with Gaia (mother Earth) herself and indeed, all of existence and source spirit.
I am also beginning to fathom the meaning of the deeper questions I have been recently contemplating regarding the very purpose of this entire process of fragmentation and reintegration and of all of existence.
