Is Tasmania Calling Me?

I've been in several discussions with friends over the last few months and the possibility of moving to Tassie to be with fellow off gridders keeps arising.
I have 25kW of solar and a battery setup but would need to do a few things to take the whole rig completely off grid.

I don't have a car at this point and don't have a lot of money but I do have qualifications and four decades of experience with electronics and am good with tools and inventing things.

If I do move to Tassie, I'll need to figure out how to move my home, workshop, recording studio and retro museum with me. That's a pretty major task but I'm prepared to do it.

I love custom building ideas and mud brick structures interest me greatly.
